ROOTED AND RESILIENT: LESSONS FROM THE TREES

Trees survived and thrived for hundreds of millions of years before we humans arrived on the scene. Might they not speak to us, offering guidance for living more deeply rooted and resilient? In these challenging times when much is changing rapidly, it’s easy to become disoriented, feel adrift, or find ourselves anxious about the state of the world. Join us on this day-long retreat to slow our busy minds, open ourselves more fully to Wisdom, and explore the lessons that might be offered when we are among the trees.

Church of the Wild Earth & Soul invites you to silent walks in nature, contemplative practice, and rich conversation in a like-hearted community. Our intent is to:

• deepen our connection to the Holy by being more fully present, open, and available in each moment;
• learn from earth and trees, water and sky, and all living beings, human and non-human; and
• to be nurtured by beauty, silence, and communion.
