WHY CHURCH OF THE WILD?Does time in nature feed your soul and revive your spirit? Are you ready to join in open-hearted kinship with other people and the more-than-human world? Are you longing to reclaim your place within the web of life?
Today, we are witnessing the unraveling of much that we love. Our separation from the living world has damaged or destroyed places of beauty and wonder - and left us lonely and heartbroken. Yet, we were never meant to travel this life as singular beings; indeed, it is impossible to do so. It is time to remember and reclaim our place in the family of things. An underlying sacredness in the Cosmos, an original blessing, is calling us to love, compassion and unity. Sacred goes by many names and by no name at all. We welcome anyone who seeks to deepen their spirituality through time in nature. |
Wild Church is an emerging yet ancient spiritual practice of connecting with the living world as kin. It is more than a novel way to "do church outside”; it is a movement to re-sacralize our wild and alive Earth. And, in the process, to re-wild our own souls.

RE-WILD WITH USChurch of Wild Earth & Soul* invites you to:

On the first Sunday of each month, 3 - 5 PM EDT, you’re invited to gather online where we will begin with an introduction to each other and the theme. Midway through our time together, we will pause for you to move offline and wander or sit in nature at your location for 20-30 minutes. (Optional practices will be provided for this time.) We will return to the community to share before our closing our time together. Poetry, readings, and music will be offered throughout our gatherings to enrich our sacred connections to Earth and Mystery.
